This is St Peters Church in Prestbury, Cheshire the village where I grew up. It's one of the oldest churches in the country being started in 1220.

There has been a church on this site since Anglo-Saxon times. The third church on the site now known as "The Norman Chapel" was built inn the 1100's and still stands in the grounds of this church (picture to come later).

The present church stands in the heart of the village directly opposite "The Priest's House."It is the church where Mrs b and I were married on 3rd April 1976.

Since I will probably forget your anniversary next April 3rd, I will wish you and Mrs. B, Happy Anniversary now. LOL. I like the comp of your shot with the walkway down the middle, and the trees on each side. Nice work, Steve.

I like the vertical presentation of this one Caruso. The walkway looks so attractive. I suspect it has rained recently to give it such a pristine look. Two hundred years after our Independence, you lost yours. Just joking. Good work and I will try to remember your anniversary.
