Sorry, this is not the best of images but is the only blue image I've got at present. It's a token gesture to mark my sadness at the passing of Verena. I hope this little image goes some-way to honour her memory.

Words are often inadequate at a time like this however music can often help. This is a movement from Brahms' German Requiem and was added to the finished work by Brahms after his own mother died. It has brought me much solace at times of sadness. Please click HERE.

I think the color is beautiful Caruso. A wonderful work. The singers sound great but they aren't real smiley. :) We cannot forget humor. Sometimes it is the best medicine.

Perhaps not your best Steve, but straight from the heart!
Very appropriate memorial to our dear friend Verena.

Verena saw beauty everywhere and she would have noticed these little blue treasures and loved them.

Thank you for the music link - so appropriate words at such a time and a joy to listen to . . . .

And ye now therefore have sorrow:
but I will see you again,
and your heart shall rejoice,
and your joy no man taketh from you. John 16:22

It will do just fine Steve.....and I'm sure she would have loved it. Verena really did see the beauty in all things and flowers were one of her favorites. She's smiling now......and will give you a nod on your choice. :)

It's beautiful as it is, and a very thoughtful tribute to Verena, who would loved it for the colour, if nothing else.
