This is The River Mersey, about a mile or two from the mouth and from "Glorious" New Brighton. All these little boats seem to be in a poor state of repair and are unloved.

To me an example of bad behavior, Steve. This kind of pollution shouldn't be allowed.

You've depicted however the reality, and in spite of what I've said above, it's a moody and good captured scene.

Regards, Cornelius.

The perspective is very good, and the B&W really fits the mood of this shot Mr. B. I hope they have not been left to rot and pollute the water? Tigs♥ =^..^=

Looks like someone needs to do some tugging or towing, Caruso.
Looks good in b/w.

Shouldn't be so difficult to trace the owners and make them pay for it if the boats must be scrapped Steve. Good B/W shot.

Aw, I feel sorry for them, the boats I mean, not the owners...but I do like your composition here...great angle, mix of tones, and even the seagulls mulling about...good one for the challenge.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have any film.

After facing those storms you recently had...I am not surprised!...We would be 'in need' of repair ourselves!

good vantage point here

I would love to have one of those boats in my yard, so I could fix it up and and sail it around when my yard floods in the spring! LOL. Excellent black and white, Steve.
