This is The Shropshire Union Canal as it passes by the Cheshire village of Barbridge. Mrs b and I went to the local pub there (the building in the upper left corner)and had a fabulous lunch.

This would be part of the Liverpool/Manchester' route?..

Good point of view for this as it shows a lot for the eye to take in!....

Pub lunches are always good value for our coin eh!

Wonderful image Steve. I've checked-out the links and understand now that not only the quality of the food has made that mrs. B and you had a fabulous lunch in the Olde Barbridge Inn.
