This is a view of The Marine Lake in West Kirby which is on the other corner of The Wirral from "Glorious" New Brighton. The water in the foreground is the lake, the water beyond the people is The River Dee Estuary. The land in the distance is North Wales.

A very moody B&W image Steve. Clever from you to take it this way. Good entry for the challenge. Well done!

This looks great Steve. It would look good printed and framed. I would crop Nth Wales out though for full emphasis on the twinkling water and silhouetted figures.
I added it to the BWC page :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

A dog or two is always the most impressive decoration, as I keep on telling all the time!:)
At the extreme right end - these two figures look as if taken straight from one old Danish comedy series about Olsen's Gang... I do not know if anyone remembers that...:)
Love the glitter of England spreading as far as N Wales too :)

I like how the people do appear to be walking on water. Their silhouettes are quite impressive Steve. Good eye!

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
