This huge ACL container ship had just entered The River Mersey (from the left in this image) but to get into the dock has to perform a 180 degree turn. It seems to manage this with only minimal help from its two tugs.

Can't read even on full screen size her name and IMO number Steve, so that I can't provide you with further details of this ACL container ship. I can't tell you for the same reason as well whether she has a bow thruster or not.

LOL at our SOT's [TicK] comment - so did I - when I had a valid driving licence and a car...:) As to ship's data I agree with our specialist SEAS that most probably bow thruster was of use for this boat:) in such straight circumstances... Still or more and more novelty for me to see a boat this size almost in waist deep water = almost at the shore ! SAM & SAAB
