Oh this strikes a personal note with me. I just recently moved back to CT from Pittsburgh. I was going to The Art Institue of Pittsburgh. I wanted to go there for the past 3 years. One of the things that really sold me on that school was the beautiful Pittsburgh skyline, it's beautiful during the day, but it's just breathtaking for me at night.
So I finally made it to AIP, but sadly was only able to finish out a quarter before I had to move back for financial reasons. I can see the apartments I was living in, in this picture :-\
I miss it so much...this is going in my faves for sure. Excellent shot. Mind if I ask when it was taken?
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~
the buildings over to the right look incredible. they have come out really crisp and clear which is hard to believe considering the slow shutter speed that must have been used. i think this ones a contender for my desktop background.
Woot! This is a perfect ten! I love night-time photos of cities and at those this one is a perfect ten!
Pittsburgh, home of the Penguins. Beautiful city it seems to be.
This is a wonderful panorama...The combination of reflections in the still water, and the colours of the lights makes this picture a winner....Well done....All the best...Mick.
Yep, recognize that bridge well. Drove across it many times to get to the convention center. Didn't realize Pittsburg is so beautiful at night. That is one sharp picture. You could sell that to the Chamber of Commerce or something.
