OMG!!!!! It looks like a painting! Are you a professional photographer? What equipment/settings did you use to get such a high quality photo? Is it film or digital?
I'm in no way a pro photographer. I think I was just lucky :-)
I used a friend's Sony DSC-F707 digital cam (5 megapixel). Most of my other photos are using my own 3 mp Canon S40. I'll put some more up of the ones I took there.
If you've ever seen the valley with your own eyes, you know that any (focused) picture of it turns out like it could be a painting... This one is much better than you usually see though. Very well composed; I especially like how the trees in the foreground are always within the silhouette of the granite in the background. Beautiful shot.
Stunning setting indeed, I must go there some time. Luck almost always plays a part in making an excellent picture, but that doesn't stop this from being a fantastic composition. Very impressed.
Wow that's beautiful, makes me wish I was there again, I have some film pictures taken over ten years ago from virtually the same spot. Were stood on the dome of a granite cap when you took it by any chance?
There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again. (groan)
