To give you an idea how big this fallen tree is, the fern on top is about three and a half feet tall. I hope you like this giant!

You should look after you prized bonsai collection more carefully, Paul.
A great looking capture of this fallen forest giant. Love the colours and lighting in your scene. The focus seems a little off, it could be a little sharper. Thanks for sharing.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick. Henri Cartier-Bresson

Yes, true, my friend, nature is the boss, not we. Sometimes it shows us that we exaggerate. I hope the man is not responsible for this. This is a nice shot, you caught the moment.

We always have to remember that nature rules everything in the world. The saturation really brings out the green of the moss and ferns.

This is just magnificent Paul. Your woodland scenes are becoming as much a trademark as your sunsets. I can think of no higher praise.
