It's very very lovely and I especially love the colors, but I am a little concerned with the slight graininess in the button itself and I am not sure that a jewel as precious as this one needs a frame around it. The composition, however is superb :)PJ

its very dark and foreboding i like it very much, your abstracts are much better than some on caedes, and the green and black hues are beutifull together, well done @ATEN@

Really good shot. I love the background, it's really beautiful. The jewel is awesome as well, the design on it looks great. Only point i have is that the white oval reflection is slightly to harsh, maybe fade that slightly? Just an idea and it is a superb image as it is.
Thanks for sharing!

This is gorgeous - I love the look, an aged look meets a jewel, beautifully finished, well done and keep up the good work!!

I have to agree with dijital, the white area is a little too strong in comparison to the beautiful subtlety of the rest of the image. Otherwise, a great work.

The jewel is beautiful! try setting a lower transparency on the white gradient- or while it's still selected you can use the eraser- set it to airbrush and set the hardness to 0 and the flow to like 20. Make the size of the eraser bigger than the selected area and just lightly erase the bottom of the white to make it look like it disappears. It will also give the area a crescent shape rather than a circle, and to me, it will give the jewel even more of a realistic rounded 3D effect. Your image is truly stunning and I love the bacground. Everything works so nicely with eachother and it will make an amazing desktop! it's going in my favs today!!

Wonderful design and composition. Regarding execution, look at the above post. it also seems to me that the white are of the jewel is a bit too white: a big more pink and the pattern would bring it to life. Wonderful idea.

Your backgrounds are always awesome yet the white on top of the jewel is too harsh again... i'm very tired... *falls asleep on keyboard*

The background is wonderful, dark and mysterious. The color of the jewel is a nice compliment but the highlight is too bright, lower the opacity some and this would be perfect.
