This is a terrific pic. The light on the foreground tree is so well lit and I take it that the plume of snow is from the racers? At any rate, it's an excellent photo and I've saved it in my Christmas file...what a treat!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Dear Tracy,
Having lost my father last month, I am quite naturally overcome and sick with grief.
Thanks for making me look towards the brighter aspects of life !
I've been to Aspen twice, and I love it there. I went to the Maroon Bells....I could pitch a tent and live there. Great shot you have here. The lighting is fantastic.
Hi Tracy, I am not sure why I've never seen this photo. What a most magnificent one too!! The depth, the feeling, the light, all of it is just perfect. There is such a pristine beauty about snow. When I moved to Oregon, we went thru Estes Park...and the beauty in Colorado is just awesome. I was raised in SD, near the Black Hills...beauty there too. But I must say this photo is absolutely magical. I will enjoy having it in my folder. Thanx so much. Verena
