A picture I took just yesterday during a walk in Highbanks Metro Park. I like how the light breaks through the trees and the reflections in the water from the other bank.
I really like the deep colors in this and the reflections of course. I'm not sure but it might have a slight tilt but perhaps that is an optical illusion. Very nice.

What a beautiful shot!
I love the lighting and the rays of the sun in this..and the reflections are fantastic.
I was thinking it might be a little dark in front but on second consideration I think it brings out the lighted areas and the river far more.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I'm so happy you took us along with you on this walk..your narrative certainly touches on the highlights, but the shadows tell their own beautiful tale as well!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
