Very lovely. The upper right is kind of washed out but the rest of this image is so very nice. ♥:)sandi♥

Great treatment you've given this shot - the overexposure is now an asset.

It's got a mystical quality that's very appealing.

I agree with the comment above - the light is very appealing and the picture looks like a painting John! You saw some wonderful light in the woodland it appears!

There is a bit of a painted look to this - I can't quite work out what manipulation you've done. You have a real eye for spotting these shafts of light in the forest John.

The full view is so much better than the thumbnail. Here I can see more than just the lighting conditions and also that effect, whatever it was, that really "makes" this work.

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

The sun lights up the forest floor and turns all things green with it's mystery and warmth. Lovely shot of this, John.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
