Another shot from last Saturday's walk. This beach seemed so desoluted and dead while just across the water florishes an abundance of life. There was still fog burning off of the water which added to the atmosphere.
Title is good. It sure is desolate looking. Hard to believe all the color that's a stones throw away. Love the angle. It gives longing feeling with barren beach looking across the way. Lighting is excellent. Good work, John.
So after the fall we have light and shadow to play with..which I guess will be the theme for the winter..great job. I love the warming light of the sun!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
This looks like such a wonderful place and the time and conditions were just right for such light filled and splendid scenes that you have been showing us.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I love the light on the beach, it makes all the textures on it come alive and look beautiful. The fog ads the softness and mysterious feeling. Wonderful work!
Lighting, reflections, haze..all look fantastic. Looks like a very nice place, great composition.
