The reflection of the morning sun off the water is gorgeous, as are the leaves and trees. Another great shot, John.

To guote ESPN you must be butter, because you're definitely on a roll. Nice Thanksgiving imagery don't you think? Great photo John. Love the light play through the trees. Shadows are outstanding. It look like the sun is trying to cheer up dark, dismal mood of the forest.

Our nearest star, bursting through the trees. Weird to think of it like that isn't it - when you really stop and think what the sun is. All those colours in this great photo came from it, as did the light you used to take it.

I like the butter / roll analogy and agree! You got jam on this one too.

Please bear with me if I don't comment as much as I have been - I'm having to scale back. Only until they introduce the 30 hour day of course ;-)

This is wonderful and I like the way the sun shines through the colored leaves and makes little lamps of them all. So nicely captured.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
