Wonderful shot John. Winter provides many a beautiful scene doesn't it. Great job on composing this one just right too.

I like the fence and old shed trying to hide but not getting it accomplished. I wonder how many years it has taken to etch this ditch. Erosion has begun and the will of the water will win out. This looks a lot like where I took pictures of tracks and trees. Just a awesome pieco of photography.

This shot wouldn't have been half as good if the snow wasn't there and it was all bare trees. So well done for capturing it while adorned in ice and snow, as it takes on a complete different dimension! Well done!

This one is really good, John. I love the browns of the tree trunks. and the fence off to the left. It looks to be a little bit of fog in the distance, and that gives it an early morning feel. Very nice composition. Really good work with this.

Is it still winter, John? Alas, it still is here, but this is sa very pretty woodland scene. You sure get around in the woods and find some really nice scenes to photograph.

it's almost like I can project myself into the cold and quiet of a snow-filled forest. Well done.

I feel like I'm dangling from a tree here...lol...truly I do like it and I especially like the fog you captured for a canvas!

Dear Joh, I'm giving you a virtual hug for this series! I can't tell you how much the beauty of woods, ice, snow and slight fog affect me. Wonderfully captured. :) + faves

I am still amazed about how much your part of the world looks like my part :-). Another beautiful winter shot. Great angle and the fence and shed really ads to the photo.

It's all been said - good viewpoint and nice composition, the fog is good too. I especially like the two trees midway into the picture, they frame the stream.

OOOoooooo this is so beautiful!! Peaceful, cold, crisp, I imagine your breath was almost frozen too. I love how you got the softness of the ice on the stream too. And the soft winter fog is just wonderful. Verena
