Now this is one dandy of a picture. I love those steps with the flagstone set in them. What a view from up there, too. It reminds me a little of the view while riding on a roller coaster. It makes me a little dizzy. Fantastic work, John.
I love the lines in this which you have captured in the steps and railings. I was also thinking that those leaves are still thick on the ground, and thought that with those and from previous years, the soil must be very rich in nutrients.
Lovely capture indeed, and well done!

Someone sure took a lot of time and money to build this Beautiful walk.
Excellent Image of the Descent John.
It sure enough leads one to the Next Level.
I most of all like the Focus throughout the image.
Fine Post.
Fantastic John, Faving this one. The overall image is wonderful. The angle of the steps and that hint of color in the background ( well this is just a fine job my friend)

You're so right...I love your way of saying it, although I don't like experimenting it! I want to take a break...This composition is awsome and full of depth. I love the angular lines and that perspective. Super image John. + faves

Do I detect a little life message directed at someone, John? Nicely presented I love the composition and the turn in the path forms a nice diagonal to lead the eye through the picture.

Beatutiful place and very nice stairs with a rail to hold on to. I think that is a really good thing when your legs are tired :-). Great narrative and photo once again John!
Good job there are steps too with all that mud! You might get a little closer to it than you intended without them. Interesting to see this structure, that really is a fascinating place.
Great perspective Alfred. Just waiting at the top of the stairs are we? With all that huffing and puffing I thought maybe it was the "Big, Bad Wolf." Good photo John. I would probably end up "tails" as opposed to "heads" were I to fall.
