When I was just as far as I could walk From here today, There was an hour All still When leaning with my head against a flower I heard you talk. Don't say I didn't, for I heard you say-- You spoke from that flower on the windowsill-- Do you remember what it was you said?
Mountain Interval. Robert Frost

“I can't control my destiny, I trust my soul, my only goal is just to be. There's only now, there's only here. Give in to love or live in fear. No other path, no other way. No day but today.”

Jonathon Larsen

Thanx again John for the reminders to stop and smell the roses. Light, shadows, shadows, light, the path takes us where we need it to take us,

My kind of place, John. As I started reading your narrative, I thought they were your words. Such a beautiful place and a wonderful photo for the memory of it. Very well done image. I love the shadows and the wonderful detail of the river and its bank.

This is a lovely place you have taken us to John. My eyes were drawn to those amazing tree roots ahead, so a good job the path veers to the right! Lovely light and shadow and again the water element which I can see blue reflections of what must have been a lovely blue sky! Well done!

Man, if I followed that path, I'd be tripping over those roots sticking out, fall on my face, and probably somehow land in the water. I'll just stay where I am and admire the view from here. It's a very good view at that. Excellent work, John.

Looks like the scenes I have been seeing Shrooming. You captured it perfectly. I didn't see the Frost thought. Oh, it was a few words from Robert Frost. And lovely words they are. A path in the words is always great to look at whether the flowers talk to you or not. Good post John.

What a beautiful spot. The tree roots look amazing and the lush greens and gentle light make this look like a very comforting place to be. Great work John.

Gorgeous spot John and I like the poem too. I know that feeling of being as far as you can walk. A nice atmospheric and thoughtful post.
