I feel like I have just made a choice at a fork in the road. After a few steps, I decided to turn around and take the other. Did I do right? Time will tell. Good use of your usual elements Shads.

Wonderful lighting and shadows...not to mention the great colors. The Columbus area sure has a lot of great places to walk, doesn't it?

Ahhhhhhhhhh yes that pathway, the trees and those great shadows are just awesome. I know the scents in that forest must have been wonderful, a great place to stroll and then to sit quietly and ponder a bit. This is a great composition..bravo...verena

I wonder how you manage to avoid getting people in your shots John, this place must be thronged at times? Lovely light again here and colours in the trees. I like the textures of the tree trunks too.

Hi John, this is an idyllic place and a beautiful image. I think I would have cropped the bottom and left to create more interest and give the viewer a definite direction to go. The bench and trees on the left don't have much to offer. I would want to take my viewer toward the colorul trees and the bend up ahead. Cropping the bottom would give take the image back to horizontal and eliminate the mid-line horizon. Nice shot. anne :-)

I've been absent from my friends at Caedes for awhile. Have been busy shooting, writing, learning, and mostly being humbled. I'm back and I look forward to viewing and sharing again. Blessings, anne :-)
