I sit on freshly cut grass and watch lifetime memories dance into view. The breeze is a friend and whispers fondness into my ears. And above it all, God covers us with a blanket of protective clouds. It is another Sunday. ~~ cASechASeR..

Good work on the image but finer work on the narrative John. May the breeze also share blessings with you.

The trouble with Sundays is they are so often followed by Rainy Days and Monday. A beautiful, but sad post Shads. I feel a lost soul wandering around in this scene. Hopefully it will find its way in time.

Beautiful shot John but I really don't think I like this effect your using lately. It seems to be taking something away from the picture. Its just my opinion and what I like, but it is a lovely capture!

You didn't have a credit after the verse, so can I assume it is yours? This is a very gorgeous picture, and has a painted feel to it. The colors are very good, and the scene is very thought provoking, as is your narrative. Very nice, John.

I see a kind of Maxfield Parrish glow to the trees... Lately I've been having a lot of memories of a lifetime and sometimes cemeteries are in them. Not long ago I visited my parents' rough-hewn granite stone down in Eastham just to make sure my Dad got his annual veteran's flag on Memorial Day. Yes, it was there, and time and tide wait for no one...

wow this is full of emotion John! ....another example of irrelevant voting - anyone who does not feel the emotion in this picture does not understand photography or art and their votes do not qualify! ...a beautiful piece of art and faved.
