I was in love with Carly Simon all through the '70s and '80s. A secret I could not keep from those I really loved. This picture reminded me of her song, "Coming Around Again." This may not be the best YouTube version of the song, but it took me back to an era of Carly and of youth.

We all have our Carley Simon's Shads. Mine was named Ann Margaret. I guess she still is. lol
It looks like a good place to walk or jog. Fall colors and fallen leaves look good in this setting. A good post my friend.

A pleasant pathway to view both coming and going. Looks like a sanctuary or a park. A lovely view for Autumn. I like the way it loops back like that. I like Carly Simon too. I can't remember anyone I was that keen on in the 60s and 70s.

I liked Carly Simon, too. But I was in love with Olivia Newton-John. LOL. Very nice shot, John. It reminds me of Magee Marsh area near Toledo.

Beautiful capture, John! I especially love the colour tones and the different walkways as you turn the bend, from the darker earth, to bridge and onto a blanket of orange and red leaves. I also like the opening created by the tree limbs, for a view above the stream. Very well done! And a great accompanying video... I too, like Carly :)

The only Carly Simon song I really remember is 'You're So Vain' and the words from that one always made an impression on me when I heard it. Interesting view John, it wouldn't have occurred to me to take it from this angle. Do I go left or do I go right.... I like the leaves on the floor and the jumble of branches.

What I would like to know is do you ever get lost in there? I think the answer would be 'yes' - lost in the beauty, peacefulness, colour, sights and smells and tranquility. Am I right? Lovely capture showing the Autumn colours. Well done!
