You must have gotten your knees wet taking this shot, John. I like the low angle. Beautiful lighting and colors. Summer is slipping away.

The river bed looks mighty dry. A nice perspective in your photo and great lighting. Good work.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick. Henri Cartier-Bresson

This is a real painting indeed. Something mysterious coming from the old Flemish Master.

Looks like a semi-dry river bed. Like the low angle shot of this. Very peaceful and calm place.

Yes, it certainly is a river John. A very beautiful river captured in the warm light of early autumn, I would say. A really love shot.

You can tell by the smoothed edges on those rocks that this is not the norm for this river. Fine shot here John. A beautiful scene with great depth.

John - Almost dry, the river bed, with a few dried leaves, forms a nice base for this look up stream. Thad

Wonderful composition. I too enjoy the low perspective and long view down the river. Looks like some seasonal changes are already in motion.
