Since matter cannot be created or destroyed, I will presume that what you have given us is the resultant energy of that conversion and it is indeed warm and static. You keep finding so many things in that Mandelbrot.

I think you have shown us what the world will look like after The Transformers have their way and rebuild the world Shads. Then Mandelbulb will be a plugin.
Magnetic attraction to this post.

You're creating some really terrific abstractions with this program. My first impression was of the inside of a warehouse designed by MC Escher. The fractal branch of mathematics is having an amazing impact on computer art. It's almost like an entirely new universe that we're just starting to break into. With all the complexity of our own, but without any familiarity. Great render.

So creative and a most intriguing and rather scary image John.
Fine work.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . First, thank you for making a seemingly symmetrical (aka perfect) image not symmetrical, which leads into the premise of dematerialization. I can't help but think you're followimg up on your El Dorado entrance way and this is the city through the eyes of Candide had he had our eyes (as the reader), you seemingly captured the irony in this image. What it would look like.. Hopefully you read voltaire and I'm not just making stuff up

I am "Candide" like when entertaining and holding to optimism and the world outside my door. As Pangloss preached on and on that all is for the best, I have viewed and have felt the painful side of life. As with Voltaire's hero, Candide. I have opted for at least one open eye and the occassional release of a gasp.

alas poor Pangloss quickly deteriorates as he thinks he is in the finest worlds of worlds. Swiftly pulling his "philosophies" with him as he sinks like his decrepit boat and eventually ceases to be a material object. Voltaire's hero, well hero is tested but I can certainly agree Voltaire is the protagonist. I would stay in El Dorado...

Marvelous work, John! I love the glowing yellow, almost molten, center of this construction and the fantastic detail. Great perspective, as well. An outstanding fractal!
