Fine composition John. Love the subtle play of light and shadow in this one, captured very well.

I do like the glowing fence. I can even smell the woods in this shot - very natural. Excellent capture.

You have captured some beautiful lighting here, and I like the way the sunshine brings out the color of the split rail fence. Beautiful shot, John.

The composition is spot on, John. I agree with Jimbob about the lighting. You've used the extreme light and dark contrasts to your advantage. I'm not sure how you do that. Every time I post a shot with deep shadows and bright light I end up with halos or weird colors in the shaded areas. That's why all of my shots are taken on cloudless days using my telephoto lens pointed directly at the center of the sun.

Ah ha! You have captured but a glimpse into the land of the Light Benders. Tread lightly and slowly, you will learn the secrets of the land! Nice work again John.

A fine composition and perspective in your photo. Nice use of light and shadow in the scene. Seems to have a lot of noise in the colours though.

Just wanted you to know I viewed your pretty image. I am recovering from botched eye surgery (cataract removal ) that did not go right. I will recover normal sight but it will take time.
