A Rooster's Dawn was photographed in the Highbanks Metro Park, in Columbus.

“The sun rose yellow as a lemon.
The sky was round and blue.
The birds looped clear water songs in the air.
Will and Jim leaned from their windows.
Nothing had changed.
Except the look in Jim's eyes.
"Last night. . ." said Will. "Did or didn't it happen?”

~~ Ray Bradbury, Something Wicked This Way Comes

Again some ominous note... Like the music from "Jaws" :)
What is going to happen now?!
Very thought provoking... "sein und schein" in German or being and seeming or the relation between the reality and human memories.
Fantastic play with me mind, agent SAC.

I see some geese, but no rooster! It must be hiding. LOL. In this you have a beautiful sky and beautiful reflections...and the whole thing seems to be beautiful! Good job, John.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The rooster must have a government job because he ain't on duty for this shift. Love the shadows in this image. Nice rich colours and reflection in the photo and a great looking scene, John.
