All Aboard was photographed on the Scioto River in downtown, Columbus. This replica of the Santa Maria is currently closed to the public due to construction along the river but plans are for it to reopen in the spring of 2016.

Here is some information about The Santa Maria ship Museum.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

I remember seeing a replica of the Santa Maria on the Mississippi in St. Louis many years ago. Then I heard that it sank in a storm. True to the real one in every way.

Great workmanship on that vessel. Hard to believe that it could make it across the Atlantic! They started the fireworks late into last night here and are continuing through the day until probably after midnight. Happy 4th.

Happy Independence Day John. It's hard to imagine that Columbus and seamen of his time had the courage to cross the ocean in such small ships and with a lack of good navigation equipment. Thanks for this fine image.

Regards, Cornelius.

Hold me, tie me down, knock me down or whatever as otherwise I would run to jump aboard !!!!
This is such a sweet memory for me - one of the first movies I saw with my uncle was "Mutiny on the Bounty" and this scene [particularly the colouring as the boat is rather different...] reminds me about this film and Marlon Brando and this is how my seafaring love and career started...:)
