I really like your chosen passages and the emotional undertone, which are very complimentary to your offered design, with the rich color of the major element in the foreground suggestive of strong feeling coupled with the brokenness of the design, and seemingly looking out but entwined within some type of branching, preventing escape to a more desirable environment or destination...anyhow, that's how I see it and a fave for me.
