One Million Years B.C. is a 1966 British adventure fantasy film starring Raquel Welch and John Richardson, set in a fictional age of caveman and dinosaurs. The film was made by Hammer Film Productions and Seven Arts, and is a remake of the 1940 American fantasy film One Million B.C.. It recreates many of the scenes of the earlier film, such as an Allosaurus attacking a child in a tree. Location scenes were filmed on the Canary Islands in the middle of winter, in late 1965. The British release prints of this film were printed in dye transfer Technicolor. The US version was cut by 9 minutes, printed in DeLuxe Color, and released in 1967.

Andy Dufresne had the Raquel Welch poster from this movie hanging in his cell to hide the tunnel he was digging Strat.
She sure brought One Million Years BC up to date. 😎
I never watched a lot of SciFi movies but I remember this one.
Your render is absolutely breathtaking. One can almost feel the world being formed. Great textures, colors and artistry define this wonderful addition to SNATM 👍 👍

Think that one million and two thousand years ago the scene wasn't that beautiful as depicted by you, John.
A marvelous render render and a valuable contribution to the SNATN theme.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
