Children of the Corn, Film, 1984

Job: Isaac started the whole thing. He's a boy preacher who came to this town three years ago. At nine-years-old back then, he had a charming way that appealed to all the kids and teens like us to follow him with his own teachings of the bible and of the Old Testament. But me and Sarah thought he was just plain weird.

Dr. Burt Stanton: [about the Bible] What, did you rewrite the whole thing, or just the parts that don't suit your needs?

Malachi: Outlander! Outlander! We have your woman!

The face does look a lot like the kid who played Malachi in the film adaptation. Enlarged, with those wrappings around the face, it almost looks like an albino Egyptian pharaoh. Wild.

Very cool, John...it's been years since seeing this one so my recollection of the story line is foggy but I recall it being rather disturbing and spooky, especially with children involved...the strange expression and look of the eyes of this young person hiding in the corn is also disturbing and a very adept portrayal of the movie theme and mood...excellent work and thank you for another exciting addition to our movie lineup.

This has an eerie tone with the ghost-like face peering out from behind the corn sheaths.

I have not seen this movie but devise from this that it has a somewhat mysterious and scary theme -

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Great creation for the movie Strat. I think this movie was the beginning of the end for high school kids that detassled corn in the summer.
Super addition to SNATM. 👍👍
