The LORD God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed. Out of the ground the LORD God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four rivers.
The Bible, Genesis 2/8
We all have that heritage, no matter what old land our fathers left. All colors and blends of Americans have somewhat the same tendencies. It's a breed ‐ selected out by accident. And so we're overbrave and overfearful ‐ we're kind and cruel as children. We're overfriendly and at the same time frightened of strangers. We boast and are impressed. We're over sentimental and realistic. We are mundane and materialistic ‐ and do you know of any other nation that acts for ideals? We eat too much. We have no taste, no sense of proportion. We throw our energy about like waste. In the old lands they say of us that we go from barbarism to decadence without an intervening culture. Can it be that our critics have not the key or the language of our culture?
John Steinbeck, East of Eden
OH, East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet,
Till Earth and Sky stand presently at God's great Judgment Seat;
But there is neither East nor West, Border, nor Breed, nor Birth,
When two strong men stand face to face, tho' they come from the ends of the earth!
Rudyard Kipling, Kipling: Poems
Let me tell you something that we Israelis have against Moses. He took us 40 years through the desert in order to bring us to the one spot in the Middle East that has no oil!

The first two elements (render and quotes) are enough food for thought. If you simultaneously listen to the music of one of the music videos, inspiring and philosophical thoughts emerge. However, they don't answer the questions posed by, for example, John Steinbeck. I think the matter is too complex for that.
PS: your render is a visual treat. This also applies, but of a completely different order, for the video of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. I was happy to be back (not physically, however, 😁) in Scotland in general and in the Princess Street in Edinburgh in particular.
