John, on my desk I have a Lobatus gigas. I got it from an uncle when I was a kid. He found this conch on a beach during one of his trips to the Caribbean. He then told me to put the conch on one of my ears and with it I could hear the sea rustling. It's probable that my interest in the sea arose at that time. However, I did not become a conchologist, but a seaman, 😁 !
Thanks for this beautiful render that brings back my story to life!
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

What a rich interchange goes on here! And your fertile imagination expressed in a proliferation of intricate forms provides the opportunity for interesting interchange. Here the image provides a sense of going inward...as well as a sonorous chamber!
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I could see someone in their 20s and 30s not seeing conch shells but rather thinking it is an homage to the Saw movies series. Luckily I am far away from my 20s, 30s, and even 40's. I saw the shells immediately but, at the end of my viewing, was a little unnerved by the eye staring at me from dead center. As a child I watched an old b-and-w film about a boy who sees the eye of a murdered person, laying on the floor above with their dead eye directly over a hole in the floor. It has stuck with me for years. Otherwise, your creation is fascinating as the others... neato, as usual.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
