Beautiful Harvest colours with an inner glowing light. Love the music link, enjoyed listening more than once and was moved by the comment left there by Andrew. That sort of brought your image, and the music more closely interwoven.

John, I have to say that the flower, being quite close to a graphic representation of a flower, is something I just find distracting. If I hold my thumb over it and study what is left here, it appears that I am looking down the maw of some mythical beast, those two long onion-like shapes on either side of that glowing pink/white/blue spot in the middle look so much like there are small eyes inside them. The two thickly gnarled and angled shapes below are the sides of the thing*s jaws, and we don*t see the bottom of the mouth. That is why is feels like a maw, a term one might use for a larger-than-life mouth, ready to swallow us whole. I realize that the sensation of attack and peril is the exact opposite of what you intended with the addition of the flower, but that*s what is so great about your work. . . it can be different things to different people. Despite the flower I believe I will make it a favorite.
