The clarity on the near barbs is perfect. The blurring of the background is something I utilize all the time, but in this case I think that I would crop the image in a bit from the right and eliminate some of the scene on that side of the fence, in my humble opinion, of course :) I really do like the sepia approach. It gives off a very grave and serious mood. :)

The soft focus almost looks like a sepia water color. I like the effect but have to agree with Pat&PJ, maybe just alittle off the right. It would give more attention to the spider web lingering on the barbed wire. Nicely done.

Hi Matthew, A nice sharp shot (no pun intended lol!).Both the clarity and sepia image is quite pleasing.

Ooh! I really like this one, makes me think of home. I do think that if you shaved off a bit to one side it would help out the image composition wise. But I also think its pretty dandy as is. Hey, if you have a minute could you stop by my gallary and critique a couple of my pics? I could use some constructive criticism. Thanks!
