I've seen that look before. I wonder where it was? Oh, I remember; it was from Molly our 5 year-old Burmese when I stopped her from wanting to chew an electricity cable and by doing that saving her life! Great, expressive shot.

A neat shot, but I would crop out the light on the left. That would remove a distracting element and give it a more balanced look.

i agree with olie about the light. a little bit of increased contrast may also take away from the litle bit of distraction from the background. love the cat!
