The New Orleans Steamboat Company operates riverboat cruises on the Mighty Mississippi River:
The Steamboat NATCHEZ dinner jazz and harbor cruises ... on the only authentic steamboat in New Orleans!
But if the world could remain within a frame like a painting on a wall, then I think we would see the beauty. Then we would stand staring in awe at our still lives posed like a bowl of oranges, like a story told by the fault lines and the soil.
Hi Cindy. I live in New Orleans, and it's always good to see it through fresh eyes. The Natchez is an important part of New Orleans' history, and I like your composition here with the Greater New Orleans bridge in the background. By the way the oil boom across the water surface in the foreground was in response to an oil-filled barge sinking under the GNO bridge. I think you might be able to improve the shot by reducing the red levels. You can often do this in a photo editing package by using a white balance tool, and clicking on a spot in the image that should be white (like the railing of the ship).
