I like the flower.. but those lines around it kind of ruin it... for me.

I do not generally like manipulations - seen too many that are done for the sake of manipulation. This image, however, is an exception. The duplication around the edges is tastefully done, the 5 sided border creates a good delineation and, most importantly, the resultant focus on the main subject aptly shows the way you have set that border counter to the 5 sided pattern of the flower, thus bringing it to strong attention. Off to my desktop with it.
