Still playing around with macro shots. Finally got a tripod which is definitely helping, lol. Tried to really capture the intricate detiail of one of my mom's ivy leafs. I sharpened the image and then ran it through some nifty software which really brought out the "droplets" of water. Hope yall like it. Comments welcome:)

This is a smashing success in my book! It puts sparkles all over my screen! It has pretty colors, pleasing composition with the slanting lines, and incredible detail. There's no frame (hooray!!!) and no black strip top and bottom (double hooray!!!).

Whatever enhancements you made, THIS is the way to make 'em! Not by adding weird textures or bending them into unnatural shapes or making it look like some double exposure or giving it some unheard-of color. Those virtually never improve upon Mother Nature. But whatever you've done here to bring out those droplets works beautifully.

Just my two cents.

Very good, Jessica. Playing with the contrast will also help the droplets pop. What are you shooting (camera) and what software did you use?

Nice closeup, Jes. The patterning of the water on the leaf also makes this a great DT.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Wonderful! Each droplet seems like a tiny reflection of the parent leaf.

Hello Jessica...This is a fantastic picture and should make a fantastic desktop for the majority of our viewers...The droplets on the green leaf makes this picture a winner...Well done...All the best...Mick.
