We had a harvest moon tonight so I had to try my luck at capturing in, usually when I try to photograph the moon it turns out looking like a blurry circle at best. I didn't have a tri-pod so I had to prop-up against a light poll. I only have a 4x zoom so it's not much. I hope you guys like it.

well, i do like it indeed, specialy since i know you did not have a tripod. leaning against that pole is not easy, specialy when you need to hold in your breath.

This looks really great Dado. I have a 4x zoom also but mine looked like a speck. The moon must not have been hanging low enough to get a decent photo. Hats off to you for this.

Thanks you guys, I'm glad you like it. I used one of my favorite places to capture storm pictures, clouds and what not, the mall in town has a big open parking lot on the south side that I can get pics off in a pretty large area of the sky. I was leaning against a light pole when I took this one to help steady me. One day a cop's probably going to drive by to make sure it's not someone drunk staggering about. Good think I don't drink.
