All any group of people around the world could want for themselves and their progeny (I refer to your title) no matter what their flag looks like. We have Betsy Ross to thank for this one and also the colors of the British flag as our example. You did a really fine job of capturing it waving about and the effect is really nice too.

First, I love your subject...I have traveled all over the United States and have come to love the beauty I see in every state. (And I should hasten to add that I have seen beauty in the countryside and in the people of every foreign country I have been lucky enough to visit. I often think we all are so blessed to be living on Earth.) Second, I especially like your painterly treatment of Old Glory. This one will be a keeper for me. Thanks.

Use your imagination when photographing, that's when you know your subject is in focus.
I have been studying flags of late and just exactly how they flow so that I can make better flag/banner avies....so when I saw this one in the voting booth not ten minutes ago, I knew how hard it was to captured this subject, and I marveled at how well you had done it and how great the effect you used was employed.
I gave it a 10.
As to the 38...pffftttt...you have to be flag waver to know, I guess.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
