Very interesting composition. I too sense the surreal eerie vibe. Gives the sense of where two worlds collide, yet it isn't certain.... maybe at the end of dramatic tunnel effect created by the wall. Seems the lighting and shadows emphasize the mood even more.
The black and white is just awesome in this picture. I don't think you would get near as great affect with the lights and shadows otherwise. Your watermark is ten times better in this one. Thanks for the great work.
Years ago, in my painting class for my fine art major, an assignment we were given was to find a way to combine subject matter that was organic and inorganic. I did pretty well with it but this one would have easily garnered an A+. It almost has a Twilight Zone feel to it and, understanding where it was taken, that sense is heightened even further. An excellent series, Chris. Top-drawer.
