Third of my Quark set, three more to go, if I can find something suitable. Comments and critiques welcome.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

A great B&W Chris. Very moody and just the right proportion of light and dark.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

Encouraged by a current discussion to comment as follows :)

First Impression: Attracted by the atmosphere conveyed - the aftermath of the storm that brought the branch down still palpable. 9/10

Composition:8/10

Tonal Range: 8/10

Focus: 8/10

Wallpaper suitability 10/10

Total 43/50.

Nitpick: The darker top right corner distracts me slightly - would have liked more definition/contrast of branches against sky.

(second nitpick - personal one - 'Up' is in the B/W Challenge, only fair that 'Down' should be as well:) )

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Good composition and perspective in the photo. A nice balance in the light and shadows.
