Bauvais cathedral has the highest ceiling of any medieval cathedral, it is so high they actually abandoned the building and it is only half complete. The paintwork is also medieval, and a bit flaky, but you get the impression of how colourful these cathedrals were in the middle ages. This is an unusual angle but I like the changing perspectives in it. Canon-5D, Zeis 18mm

Sad to hear they abandoned the project...a fascinating structure and ornate details...I like the unusual perspective...nice to see a post from you, Chris.
