Image is taken in the dunes of the peninsula Walcheren (near Flushing), Zeeland, The Netherlands.------------------------------------------------------- Edit (answer to Lyn's question): A lot of beaches in The Netherlands have those 'fences' (in Dutch they are called: 'paalhoofden'). Their function is to limit the influence of the fast flowing seawater, so preventing that too much sand of the beaches is taken back into the sea. They are 'breaking' the waves as well before they reach the shore, so reducing their power. Think it's clear that they're only there for safety reasons.---------------------------------------------------------
THIS ONE made in an other season!
Well done!
