My friend, you are a inspiration for me to shot landscapes in my own neighbourhood. But, you are so good in it! Let me please learn from it by watching your work. Thanks Michel.
This sure is a moody picture, and by that I mean that it puts me in a lazy mood. I want to get out a row boat, travel down the river at the slowest speed possible, and play the harmonica as I go. Just beautiful color tones, Cornelius. A great water scape.
You have really been capturing some beautiful sunsets C. They have been pure gold. I really like the framing on this. The scene is so peaceful. Now if JimboB would quit playing the Harmonica, it would be perfect.

Wasn't sure where my tour through your galleries would lead, as it was difficult to choose one to comment on and then this one jumped out at me, as they say.
Good compositon, good technical control (re: exposure at al). Nicely done.
If I may be so bold, as to suggest ... when you capture a brilliant image such as yours here ... simplify your framing and matting.
May be a case of personal preferences and artistic tastes in final presenation, however ... that said ... your image here need not be 'dressed up' at all in my mind.
As presented to us, the framing/matte is indeed understated ... and you are not far off my personal mark/perference or humble opinion. Not at all.
To finish my ... ahem ... novel here ;o) ... black border, small inset matte (the one line of white/grey would suffice) and that's it.
Your photo here can readily stand on it's own.
And that is indeed a high and sincere compliment.
And but of course, thank you for sharing this glorious scene with us.
I like it a lot and echo your viewer's thoughts above. :o)
