Like to continue my 'Winter in Zeeland 2009' series with this one. The image was captured at the end of the afternoon of January 9th, 2009. The setting winter sun gave this image a special glow.
Hope you'll like this image too. Thank you in advance for any comment.
Edit: my friend Owd Bob supposed in his comment below that this image was taken at the same spot as my yesterday's image. I already informed Bob, and like to inform you as well, that this is not correct. Although both images are captured at the peninsula Walcheren, the spot of today's image is a couple of miles more to the south than the spot of yesterday's image.Comments

10+ in my estimation. The frost is a sight I would love to encounter around here. I love the lighting near the skaters. Superb is not bold enough to describe this image, Cornelius.

Just great C. The lighting and the hoar frost appear to be holding hands as they walk around the photo. The skaters add such a touch of humanity to the whole scene. Faved. It is one of your best.

This is a wonderful image Cornelius, it has a 'past times' feel and lots of lovely detail. This winter in Zeeland series is making me want to visit Holland when it's cold.

Hi All, if you see my initials on you latest upload you will know that I have had a good look at your photo, but at the moment, I'm getting over 200 friends a day, and I just cant keep up with you all, sorry, but I will look, but at times I wont be able to make many comments....
This is really beautiful; it looks like there is a heavy frost or a coating of ice on the trees and grass. I also like the sunlight on the grass, very nice work.
