The Belgian Pilot Vessel 'Ravelingen' passes us by at full speed while on its way to a seagoing vessel off the Belgian coast. I knew that it was approaching us, but I had just a split second the time to capture it. Making pictures of foofies is a lot easier, lol.

Hope you like this image. Thanks in advance for your comment.

This is a fine action picture, agent SEAS.
Pilot boats - for me - are a reminder of situations when during sea trials some participants had to join or leave the ship at sea for some reasons - usually heavily loaded with all kinds of measuring gear - it was then that I realised that there is no such thing as calm sea!:) I would not even attempt jumping at the ladder moving as a swing! Climbing up/down such ladder in full swinging motion some 15 metres ! Sheer horror!
The sea here looks deceptively calm though but I know better than that:)
Again thanks for the memories:)

A fine photo Cornelius. I like how you have effectively captured the spray as she cuts through the water.

Hopefully you're standing on something solid, Mr. C, to avoid going in the drink due to his wake. Nice action shot and I love the color of the water near the bottom. -Nik

That was a great action shot and quick capture. The wake shows that the boat was really speeding, and yet you managed to get a clear shot! Nice one.
