My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
That pink vs. orange sky is amazing, mostly because the tree canopy hides the gradation between colors. I'm sure it's there but this way it looks as though you used a filter. I'm still trying to figure out the geography of that green strip at the bottom, thinking it may be that it's the edge of a drop off, which would explain why it crosses the plane of the sun's light instead of following it. I like a shot that makes me think, even if it means I end up even more lost than when I started. :D
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.

Hello Nik,
I'm sorry for being late for my response on your comment.
As you might know, all my images are taken in RAW (NEF because I use Nikon bodies). In order to achieve TIF and later PNG images (the latter for uploading at Caedes) I do the basic processing by 'Adobe Camera Raw 8.4', like brightness, contrast, highlights, shadows, noise reduction, and so on. This image was just processed this way. I agree with you that the lighting just under the canopy of the trees had the appearance of being forgotten for selective coloring by me. But believe me, all the colors are natural as they are. No tricks at all, so there was no use of any (software)filter. The green strip was just grass selectively illuminated by some sun rays.

Magical, beautiful and gorgeous!!!! Your timing of course was impeccable and the perspective is right on. I to love how that brighter green strip runs horizontally across the screen that really adds to the overall affect!! Superb as usual Mr. "C"!!
