This B&W image shows the, in the 15th century built, 'Zuidhavenpoort' (South harbor gate) in Zierikzee. Zierikzee is a little town on the peninsula Schouwen-Duiveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands. The 'Zuidhavenpoort' is one of the ancient entries to Zierikzee.
It's my weekly entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge.

Excellent and sharp details in this Mr. C. and of course nothing in my country was built in the 15th century so that in and of it self is amazing to me!

A mechanical marvel from the 15th century! Imagination, brainpower and a desire to make life easier so many years ago. Beautifully presented in B/W, Cornelius.

This is one amazing capture and in B&W it is outstanding very nicely with lovely light plus detail and stunning sky backdrop too.Also Mr C I like all the different shapes and angles with in this photograph too.
