When you view this image and read its title, think that any comment is superfluous, with the exception that the Belgian pilot tenders 'Honte' and 'Raan' are performing the water ballet 'show'.
I was never seasick but when I look at this I can imagine how the ride in the pilot boat will be. Wonderful and well timed shot with that huge spray almost covering the boat Cornelius.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Sometimes, when the wind is up to about 18mph and I'm paddling my kayak across the lake, in the face of the wind, and small waves are hitting the side of my bow and tossing water into my lap... I should really learn to just stop whining about it already, considering what these guys are handling. So, Mr. C., you get all these great action shots of Pilot boats, and they're close-up captures... do you go out in your own boat and hang out around these guys or do you use a real gem of a telephoto lens? Or both? Cuz you do a darn fine job of it.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Certainly a keeper for the album
