This B&W image of the traditional windmill 'Buiten Verwachting' (out of expectation), built in 1874, was captured by me on September 7th, 2017, on the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

It's my weekly entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge (BWC).

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

The white structure of the mill stands out like a light in b/w. Beautiful in black and white Cornelius.

What a beauty - both the mill and the photo.
The stark white of the walls is enhanced by the shadows and you have wonderful detail throughout the image. It looks quite a lonely place :)

Thank you for submitting it to the BWC Cornelius :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
